This is a collection of various portrait pictures I’ve taken throughout my first semester in my Interactive Media Design program. In these photos I seeked to experiment with elements such as:
- lighting
- angles
- design principles
I tried to convey a theme of nightlife with a gloomy, grungey, and abstract atmosphere. As I continue to develop my skills in photography, I want to continue down this route and capture more photos fitting this theme.

My Creative Process
- Gather inspiration (looking on Pinterest, browsing magazines)
- Scout out locations to set the scene for the photos
- Shoot away!
